Graduation Schedule

 

 

Spirit Bus for the Lady Blue Devils Basketball Team - We are organizing a Spirit Bus to travel to Macon, Georgia to support our Lady Blue Devils Basketball Team as they take on Redan High School in the State Championship Game on Thursday March 6th @ 7:00 pm! The cost of riding the Spirit Bus is $5 and tickets to the Basketball Game are $12. The bus will leave from CHS at 4:30 p.m. & should return around 10:30 p.m. If you are interested in riding the Spirit Bus, please sign up and pay your $5 to Mrs. Bynam’s in Rm. 209!


Superintendent Barge Names 462 Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Schools

 

February 24, 2014 – State School Superintendent Dr. John Barge today named 462 Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Schools. 

"There are so many Georgia schools that have great success with Advanced Placement," Superintendent Barge said. "I am so pleased to see this success grow to more and more of our schools this year. These achievements can be attributed to the outstanding students and teachers at each of our AP Honor Schools." 

Beta Club - The Beta Club meets in the auditorium after school on Tuesday, 11 Feb.

Straight A Students are honored - The National Honor Society would like to congratulate all students who made all A's for the second 9 weeks.  Please come enjoy a slice of cake in your honor on Tuesday, February 11 during all lunches.  A list of all students who made all A's will be checked at the cake table.

Columbus High School JROTC established a mentoring partnership with Brewer Elementary School.  The Mentoring Program is known to Brewer students as the Buddy Program;  the Buddy Program is focused on assisting K-5 grade

MUSCOGEE MANOR COMMUNITY SERVICE - If you are doing your community service at Muscogee Manor for the spring semester, there is an Orientation Meeting on Thursday, Feb. 6 in Mrs. Shorey’s room #315 from 3:30-3:45 pm. Attendance is mandatory.

Football Booster Club Sales - The football boosters will be selling Columbus Athletic t-shirts in the cafeteria this Thursday

Prom Committee - The prom committee is meeting on Wednesday Feb 5th after school in Mr. DiQuattro's room.

 

WIN GIFT CARDS - Student 2 Student will kick off their 4th annual book drive for Wynnton Elementary School in February. Red collections boxes will be placed in all homerooms. The purpose of this red box is for students and teachers to donate gently used
