2014-2015 Student Council Members - Mandatory meeting Friday, MAY 23RD, 2014 in room 206. Come directly to room 206 after homeroom. We will meet until lunch and plan for next year.

 

Animal Ark Rescue – Summer Volunteer Orientation information is as follows: 

Your MANDATORY orientation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.  Orientation will take approximately one hour and will be held at Animal Ark Rescue, 5133 Sacerdote Lane, Columbus, Georgia.  The phone number is 706-566-5947, and your volunteer coordinator is Holly Gonzalez.  You will receive more pertinent information from your homeroom teacher. If you have questions, please see Ms. Mills in Room 301.  Thanks for your help!

Community Service Orientation - Orientation for the Combined communities of Southeast Columbus (CCSC) tutorial program will be in room 214 afterschool on Wednesday, May 20, 2014. If you cannot attend please see Coach Foster in Rm 214.

 Community Service Orientation - Red Cross community Service Orientation on Wednesday, May 21 after school in room 201.

Girls Inc. - The summer orientation meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 21st after school in room 307.

Achievers International students - you need to briefly check with Ms. Bailey immediately after school today, Tuesday, May 20thregarding your export product to the Dubai British School, and the agenda for the next and last meeting of the year. If you are unable to see Ms. Bailey for any reason, you must email her to that effect.

Yearbook Prices - Yearbooks are still available and cost $70 as of Tuesday, May 20th .  Bring a check to room 310, payable to Columbus High School.  If you bring cash, it must be for the exact amount, and you must come during lunch, homeroom, or after school. 

 

Page One and Science Fair Winners - All Page One and Science Fair Winners must report to the MCPEC lobby at 5:30 pm today, Monday, May 19th.  Go to the east side of lobby for line-up.

 

 

 

Yearbook Prices - Yearbooks are still available for purchase; the cost is $65, but it will go up to $70 on Tuesday, May 20th .  Bring a check to room 310, payable to Columbus High School.  If you bring cash, it must be for the exact amount, and you must come during lunch, homeroom, or after school. 

 

Track & Field Banquet - The track & field team will be having their banquet Monday May 19th 5:00p-8:00p in the school’s cafeteria.

Liberty Theatre Community Service - Those registered for Liberty Theatre Summer Arts Academy for community service this summer needs to come to an informative meeting on Friday, May 16th immediately after school in room 102.

 

Congratulations to the girls’ soccer team! They have advanced to the State Semifinals by beating Spalding 2-0 on Saturday.  They will next play on Wednesday, May 14, at 7:00 PM against Veterans High School.  That game will take place at Perry High School, which is just south of Warner Robins.

 Achievers International - Although the media center will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday the 14th) after school until 4PM, all Achievers International students need to meet with Ms. Bailey immediately after school. Meet Ms. Bailey at the media center front door to be directed to a meeting place. This meeting is critically important!
