Peer Helpers - We have scheduled a meeting for Wednesday, 4/16 at 3:30 in RM 307 to finalize EOCT cram session plans. This is a mandatory meeting so if you are unable to attend please visit Mrs. Belt beforehand.

 

Relay For Life Shootathon - The Relay for Life Shootathon will be held in the Armory - April 14-18. All students must fill out the waiver form to participate. Students may shoot during lunch and with their teacher's permission. 

 

NEHS/NHS - These two organizations meet in the auditorium after school on Tuesday, April 15th.

Spring Pictures - Any student who would like to take a spring picture must sign up on the list posted on Coach Perry's door (room 310) by Thursday, April 17th.  This is open to anyone in any grade including seniors.  Also, you may choose to take pictures in groups with your friends if you like, but you must specify that when you sign up.  Spring Picture Day is Thursday the 24th.

 Thespians - This group has a meeting in room 112 on Thursday, April 10th, after school.

 Book Club - Your last chance to participate in the Blue Devils Book Club this school year is April 10th.  The books under discussion will be:

Bring your own lunch & drink!!! Snacks will be provided. The Book Club meets each Lunch Session in the Memorabilia Room of the Media Center. Be prepared to discuss at least one of the above titles. There will be a drawing among those who attend for a free book. Again, this will be the last book club get together of the school year. Don’t miss it!

 

Columbus High School had two students, Pooja Prabakaran and Margot McCrillis, place in the top ten winners from Georgia for the Istanbul Center and Atlantic Institute Art & Essay Contest.  This year’s theme was “Connecting Cultures in the Digital Age: How does social media change the future of our world?” Pooja placed third in the state and won a trip to Turkey.

 

Science Olympiad - This group has a meeting in room 124 after school on Wednesday, April 9th.

 

Student Council - This group has a meeting at 7:45 on Wednesday, April 9th in room 206.

 

High School Musical - The Disney stage play “High School Musical” will be presented this week at Columbus High.  Tickets are $7  if you pre-buy them during all lunches starting Wednesday, April 9th.  All tickets at the door will be $10.  Make plans to see “High School Musical” on Thursday – Saturday @7:00 p.m. or Sunday @ 2:00.
