Boys Tennis Team Defending Their State Champion Title - Please congratulate the boys tennis team.  They defeated Heritage from Catoosa County today 5-0, advancing to the "Sweet Sixteen."  

 Track and Field Members Advance - The following track & field student-athletes are moving to sectionals, and will compete Saturday at Carrollton. 

Brittany Floyd: 2nd place in the long jump and 1600           Harper Fine: 3rd place in the 1600

Hope Skypek: 3rd place in the 3200                                         Raja Gonzalez: 4th place in the 3200

Briana Dent: 2nd place in the discus                                        Anneliese Marr: 3rd place in the high jump

Preston Haralson: 3rd place in the 800                                    Bo Bridges: 4th place in the 1600 and 3200

Ivan Rome: 4th place in the triple jump

EPIC - Takes place in the auditorium from 7-9 on Friday, April 25th.

 

Thursday, 24 April is Senior Cap & Gown photo Day - All seniors (boys and girls) must wear a white collar shirt.  You may bring it and put it on only for the photo, but if you don't have one, you will have to wear a fake white collar that Lifetouch provides.

            Boys must also wear a dark-colored neck tie, or one will be provided.

To Be or Not To Be... - Auditions for the ACTING/PRODUCTION CLASS for 2014-15 (next school year) will be k on Wednesday and Thursday, April 23 – 24, from 3:45 – 5:00.  Auditions will be held in Room 112. Those interested, please prepare a 1 minute monologue of your choice to be presented from memory.  You should sign up for a group time slot.  There will be 10 people admitted for each time slot. You may leave after you’ve performed.

Students planning to attend CSU after graduation  - This summer CSU will introduce their Rapid Start Summer Freshman Learning Communities.  Classes will complete in 7 weeks instead of the traditional 15!  No Friday classes!  Introductory courses in business, communication, English, math and music will be available.  Students planning to attend CSU after graduation should definitely explore this as an option to the start of your college experience!  Call 706-507-8883 or go to ColumbusState.edu/Summer for more information.  Deadline:  May 30.
