Here is how the yearbook distribution should work:

1.     On Friday, during 3rd block, the yearbook students will deliver the boxes of PURCHASED books to each home room with a sign-up sheet inside for students to initial off on receipt of their books.  Many of the books are personalized, so it is important that students are given the right book.

2.     Please keep the yearbook boxes secured until the time we return to homeroom at the end of fourth block.  Yearbook students will arrive to distribute the books.  Please do not let the students have the books until my staff member arrives, unless… (see #3)

3.     If you have emailed me saying that you would be happy to get the students to sign for their books, then my staff will try to have a post-it note with each student’s name on the covers.  That should make it a little easier for you.

4.     After all books have been signed for, please send the sheets back up to my room (310) along with any books for students who were absent.  If there is no post-it note on the absent student’s book, please affix one with his or her name on it.  We will hold their books in room 310 until they come to claim them. Do not let another student sign for someone else’s book.

5.     Please remind everyone that we will not give refunds for books that have been written in, so before they get others to sign, they should inspect the book thoroughly.

6.     If a student claims to have purchased a book but is not highlighted on the list, then he or she may come to room 310 to work things out. We have a digital version of the receipt book, so we can check very quickly for any purchases.  Also, please remind students that they may purchase the book on Monday for $65 or on Tuesday for $70.  Checks should be payable to Columbus High School, while cash must be exact change.

7.     We have plenty of additional autograph pages and a few plastic covers left for $3.00 each.
