“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.”                                          – Henry David Thoreau

I am excited to have the opportunity to teach and serve the amazing students of Columbus High School. Growing up, I was the daughter of an elementary school teacher with 35 years of experience and the passion that I saw in my mom for her students inspired me. I hope to continue to instill a passion and a joy for learning that will transcend generations to come.

I have three wonderful children who are also Blue Devils and an amazing husband! I absolutely love to read, spend time with my family and I truly enjoy getting to know each and every student.  This will be my 8th year teaching and I look forward to an exciting year.
